Notice is hereby given that APPALACHIAN AGGREGATES, LLC, 2950 CHARLES AVENUE, DUNBAR, WV 25064 has submitted an application for Permit Number Q000183 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, in order to Change post mining land use to light industrial from forest land.
The operation is discharging into unnamed tributary of Glade Fork of Beaver Creek of Piney Creek and unnamed tributary of Piney Creek of the New River and is located near GLEN MORGAN in SHADY SPRING District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81deg. 10′ 19″ and Latitude 37deg. 42′ 8″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Comments on the application shall be in writing and shall identify the applicant and application number and be sent to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) at the address above. Comments received by December 30, 2020, or thirty (30) days from the date of initial date of publication, will be considered.
A copy of the application will be available until December 20, 2020 or thirty (30) days from initial date of publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
