The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources,
Wildlife Resources Section, offers for sale the following
timber on approximately 75-acres of the 13,590-acre
Lewis Wetzel Wildlife Management Area in Lewis
County. The purpose of this timber sale is to create and
enhance game and nongame wildlife habitat.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE BID $53,044.83

Sealed bids for this timber will be received by the West
Virginia Division of Natural Resources, Wildlife
Resources Section, Bids will be received up to and
including 10:00 a.m. on January 6, 2021, at the Lewis
Wetzel Managers Office Buffalo Run Road near
Jacksonburg, WV. Bids will be opened immediately
afterwards.

A bid guarantee of 10% of the total bid price must
accompany the bid and will be returned to the
unsuccessful bidders.

Minimum acceptable bid shall be $53,044.83.
Minimum bid per species must be met.

sale and submission of bid can be obtained from the
West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, Wildlife

A conducted inspection of the WMA project area and
review of the sale contract will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
December 16, 2020. All persons interested in this tour
should meet at the Lewis County WMA Manager’s
Office on Buffalo Run Road.
