Notice is hereby given that MIDLAND TRAIL RESOURCES, LLC, 100 BILL BAKER WAY, , BECKLEY, WV 25801 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 80.6 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O301786 to operate and maintain a Haulroad Only in the N/A seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into an unnamed tributaries of/and Kuhn Branch of Little Clear Creek of Meadow River of Gauley River of Kanawha River and is located 6.0 miles, northeast of Rupert, WV in Meadow Bluff District of Greenbrier County, Longitude 8033’30” and Latitude 3801’29” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
