Fayette Trail Coalition (FTC) advocates for outdoor recreation, education, and access throughout Fayette County by providing expertise in sustainable trail design, building, and maintenance. FTC initiatives enhance the local economy and promote the region as both a destination and a place to call home.
We are looking for a company to work closely with FTC to develop a detailed trail plan that encompasses four properties throughout Fayette County. This plan will be used to initiate funding and grant opportunities for trail construction. The trail plan should focus on sustainability and the natural and aesthetic features each property has to offer. The target audience includes bikers, hikers, backpackers, nature observers and trail runners. The trail design should also consider users of varying skill levels, ages and fitness abilities in order to welcome a diverse range of trail users and families alike.
