AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that EQT Production Company has
applied to the West Virginia Department of
Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a
construction permit (R-13) to construct a new
centralized water storage facility (Opry AST Pad)
located on Route 7, twenty miles east of
New Martinsville in Wetzel County, West Virginia.
The site latitude and longitude coordinates are:
39.645121 N, – 80.536118 W.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the
following Regulated Air Pollutants will be:
Particulate Matter (PM) = 9.20 tpy
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) = 0.06 tpy
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) = 2.58 tpy
Carbon Monoxide (CO) = 8.08 tpy
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) = 4.04 tpy
Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) = 2.69 tpy
Formaldehyde = 1.35 tpy
Carbon Dioxide Equivalents (CO2e) = 13,969 tpy
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about
March 1, 2021 or upon issuance of the permit. Written
comments will be received by the West Virginia
Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air
Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304,
for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication
of this notice. Written comments will also be received
