Public Notice of FRM Policy Board and TAC Meeting
The Fayette-Raleigh Metropolitan Planning Organization (FRM) will be holding a meeting of the FRM Policy Board and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM to consider approval of the updatedLong-Range Transportation Plan(LRTP) for Fayette and Raleigh Counties.
As the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Fayette and Raleigh Counties, FRM is required by federal law to produce a long-range transportation plan (LRTP) and update it every five years. The LRTP is a multi-modal plan that identifies recommended improvements to the transportation system for at leastthe next 20 years. The LRTP was updated in November 2020 and a 45-day public review period of the plan took place from November 17 to December 31, 2020.
