REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The Fayette County Board of Education is inviting qualified firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for providing Architectural/Engineering design services for the new Midland Trail Area PK-5 school on the Midland Trail campus in Hico, WV. Qualified architectural design firms may submit a statement of qualifications to provide architectural/engineering design services for the above referenced project(s). These services will include design and construction administration and the county board of education will be using the process as required in West Virginia Code 5G-1-3. Submitting firms must follow the instructions as provided in Section IV of this document. All firms submitting proposals will be considered and those firms considered most qualified will be short-listed and will be interviewed by the selection committee for further qualifications. Interested architectural/engineering design services may obtain a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) package outlining the submittal requirements, by contacting Superintendent Gary Hough at (304) 574-1176, extension 2122 before 3:00 p.m. (EST) on February 15, 2021. Instructions to bidders and selection criteria will be provided within the RFQ package. Expressions of interest will be received by Fayette County Schools no later than 3:00 p.m. (EST) on February 15, 2021. Submittals received after 3:00 p.m. (EST) February 15, 2021 will receive no consideration. Upon review of bidder qualifications, experience, technical approach, design concept, and financial terms, Fayette County Schools will select a single architectural/engineering design service to develop its performance contract program.
