LEGAL NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR SALE OF TIMBER AND CLEARING
The Raleigh County Memorial Airport (RCMA) is seeking proposals from qualified and appropriately licensed contractors to sell timber, clear, and incorporate Best Management Practices (BMP) measures to control storm water runoff and soil erosion for +/- 95 acres of property located in the City of Beaver and the unincorporated area of Raleigh County. The RCMA intends to enter into contract with the selected Respondent within fourteen (14) days of a Notice of Award. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the RCMA and the selected Respondent.

Contracts are to be awarded on familiarity with and expertise on this type of project, as well as on a fixed fee basis for services. All those interested in being considered for this must submit a proposal detailing qualifications and staffing capabilities, related prior work experience, fee schedule and ability to complete work as needed on this project prior to March 31, 2021.
Contracts will be awarded to the responsible firm whose proposal is most advantageous to the project, with price and other factors considered including familiarity and expertise with this type of project.
