REQUEST FOR BID NUMBER WVSOM-21-B-006 (RFB) WEST VIRGINIA SCHOOL OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE MAIN BUILDING ROOF REPLACEMENT West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) Board of Governors on behalf of WVSOM located at 400 Lee Street North, Lewisburg, WV 24901 is soliciting competitive firm fixed priced bids from qualified Contractors for the WVSOM MAIN BUILDING ROOF REPLACEMENT. GENERAL SCOPE: Remove approximately 21,000 SF of existing roofing, insulation, flashing and coping on Main Building -B and replace with new EDM roof membrane, insulation and coping. Remove and replace two existing mechanical units over Auditorium on Main Building-B. Remove approximately 2,150 SF of existing roofing, insulation and flashing on Library and replace with new EDM roof membrane, insulation and coping. The RFB will be issued on or about 19 February 2021. A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING will be held WEDNESDAY 03 MARCH 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the 1st YEAR CLASSROOM, WVSOM Main Building. All interested Contractors (Prime Contractors) are required to be represented at this meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project location, site conditions and other relevant information. Should any Bidder fail to attend, their Bid will be disqualified. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, ALL DOORS AT WVSOM ARE LOCKED AND TO COMPLY WITH WVSOM’S CURRENT GUIDELINES, ALL BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK TO ENTER BUILDING. HAVE YOUR TEMPERATURE TAKEN. WEARING MASKS AND PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED WHILE ON CAMPUS.
