Concrete Work for Park Development
The Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks &
Recreation Board will be accepting sealed bids until 12 noon prevailing time on Friday, March 26, 2021 for the construction of a
concrete basketball half court as well as an eight foot wide concrete walkway of approximately 400 feet in length. A mandatory on-location meeting will be held at 1:00 pm at
240 East Burke Street,
Martinsburg on Friday March 12, 2021.
The contractor must be
registered with the City of Martinsburg, State of WV, and with the federal
contractor registry (www.sam.gov).
Contractor must provide workman’s compensation and liability insurance
coverage for all workers involved with the project. M-BC Parks &
Recreation will provide any building permits required by the City of Martinsburg to complete the project.The project is
primarily funded by the City of Martinsburg’s Community Development Block Grant Program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity (EO 11246), Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and Davis-Bacon wage rates for all work to be done during the project. The contractor and any subcontractors must provide certified payrolls during this project.Women and minority-owned businesses are
