Notice is hereby given that Norman Holdings, LLC, 202 School Drive, Belle, WV 25015 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for an Article 3 permit for the surface disturbance of approximately 13.35 acres in order to surface mine and add a stockpile area in the Hughes Ferry seam of coal.
The proposed operation is discharging into Fallrock Branch of/and Meadow River of Gauley River of Kanawha River and is located 0.9 miles, southwest of Nallen in New Haven District of Fayette County, Longitude 80deg. 53′ 28″ and Latitude 38deg. 05′ 48″.

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until April 24, 2021, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
