INVITATION FOR BIDS
TAZEWELL COUNTY MOWING/TRIMMING BIDS – 2020
The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors is accepting sealed bid from qualified persons or businesses for mowing and trimming upon Tazewell County properties for 2020. Please read the following instructions carefully:
(1) Bid packets will only be accepted from businesses who have attended the pre-bid conference, which will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the County Administration Building, located at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, VA 24651.
(2) Bidders must show proof of a minimum insurance policy of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00).
(3) Bidders must submit a bid for each location desired and a separate bid for their charge if the bidder was awarded all locations.
(4) Bids may be placed on any or all locations.
(5) Bids will be opened on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
(6) The bid should clearly be marked on the outside “Mowing Bid” and sent to the County Administration Building, located at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, VA 24651.
(7) Without exception, bids delivered after this date and time will not be accepted.
(8) Tazewell County reserves the right to reject all bids; waive informalities; and accept the bid that is in the best interests of Tazewell County.
