Please take notice that on January 29, 2021, a Petition for Appointment of Guardian was filed relating to the above-named minors, Mackenzie Claypool and Aydin Claypool, by Petitioners Crystal Smith and Daniel Smith.
It appearing by the Petition filed in this action that the said Respondent, Unknown Father, is unknown by Respondent biological mother, Erica Claypool. It also is appearing that the whereabouts of any known or unknown father, or of anyone claiming paternity of infant child, is
presently unknown at this time.
Therefore, it is ORDERED that any known or unknown father, or anyone claiming paternity of infant children, appear for a hearing on this Petition before the Honorable Darl W Poling., Raleigh County Judicial Center, 222 Main Street, Beckley, WV 25801 on May 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM at which time and place you may appear and make any objection known or to otherwise protect your interest.
Further, it is hereby ORDERED that any known or unknown father, or anyone claiming paternity of Mackenzie Claypool and Aydin Claypool, be advised of his right to have counsel at every stage of these proceedings and that counsel will be appointed if they cannot pay for the services of counsel and that such proceedings may result in the severance of parental rights and the transfer of custody of said child unto the Petitioners.
