PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED
ORDINANCE
RELATING TO WATER RATES, FEES AND CHARGES
OF THE CITY OF WHEELING
Notice is hereby given that, on the 16th day of March, 2021, the City Council of the City of Wheeling caused to be read an Ordinance proposing an increase of rates fees and charges to its current WATER tariff and is proposing the adoption of same. The title of such Ordinance reads:

AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING AND
FIXING WATER RATES,
FEES AND CHARGES OF THE CITY OF WHEELING

The City Council of the City of Wheeling will have its final reading and vote on the ordinance on April 6, 2021, at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, West Virginia. The meeting will be open to the public. However, due to the increase of COVID-19 cases and of the utmost concern for the safety of our citizens, including the City of Wheeling governing body, the City of Wheeling City Council Meetings will be held virtually until further notice. Any or all members of Council may be present at the meeting virtually. Any members of the public desiring to appear virtually at the meeting and present comments or protests, if any, with respect to the proposed Ordinance may call 304-551-2151 at any time up until fifteen minutes prior to the beginning of the Council Meeting for instructions on how to participate.
A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for public inspection at the City Clerk’s Office located at 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, West Virginia. During the COVID-19 pandemic, that office is open to the public by appointment on Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or, a copy of the ordinance can be obtained by contacting the City Clerk’s Office by email to
