REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE KANAWHA COUNTY EMERGENCY AMBULANCE AUTHORITY Take notice that the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority is soliciting Professional Construction Management Services for four (4) New Buildings to serve as ambulance stations. Pursuant to WV Code 5G, KCEAA is soliciting expressions of interest from qualified firms to provide Professional Construction Management Services including Design Build for site work and construction of four (4) New Ambulance Stations to be located in Dunbar, Marmet, South Charleston, and St. Albans, all in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Each of the buildings will be single-story, encompassing approximately 11,000 square feet combined total structure space. Total projected cost for all four (4) Buildings is $2,000,000. A single construction management firm will be retained to provide the Services for the entire Project. The scope of services and responsibilities to be provided will include standard pre-construction and construction phase services. Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed project will be undertaken with Davis-Bacon Wage Rates for on-site construction. Interested firms shall submit three (3) copies of an expression of interest, including (1) a statement of qualifications to be considered for the Services; (2) a list of pertinent references of projects for which the firm has constructed and/or performed Construction Management Services similar to those requested herein; (3) management and staffing capabilities, and (4) the name and contact information for a person at the firm for follow-up communications on submission. The copies should be sent to the attention of Jack Linville, Chief of Operations, Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority, 601 Brooks Street, Charleston, WV 25301, 304-345-2312, ext. 1268. Only written expressions of interest will be considered. The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority shall accept written expressions of interest until 2 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021. The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive all informalities in the solicitation process, and to make a selection from the submissions received that is solely in the best interest of the Authority. After the submission deadline, the Authority will establish a short list from responses received and intends to perform interviews as needed on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, after which the Authority intends to select the successful proposer as timely as possible following such interviews.
