Modernization Project
Sealed bids for the Brooke County Courthouse, will be received at the County Clerk’s Office, located at 632 Main Street. Wellsburg, WV 26070.
Bids will be accepted up to May 28, 2021 at 4pm.
All complete bids will be publicly opened at the next County Commission Meeting, being, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 starting at 10:30am inthe County Commission Chambers onthe first floor of the Courthouse.
The project consists of Modernization / Replacement of the Existing Elevator Mechanical & Electrical Systems, Doors, Controllers & Car. Three floors. All permits are to be obtained by the bid winner.

The contractor & its subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB58409 (WV Contractor’s Licensing Act). All contractors shall include their license number on the bid proposal. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. The Brooke County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
