PUBLIC NOTICE Marshall University Research Corporation’s (MURC) Center for Environmental, Geotechnical and Applied Sciences (CEGAS) plans to submit an application for grant funding thru the Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Regional and Local Planning program. The application will seek funding to conduct an Evaluation of Short-Term Flood Control Barrier Systems for Critical Infrastructures in Lincoln, Kanawha, Clay, Nicholas, Webster, and Greenbrier Counties, WV. The maximum grant award for this program is $250,000. Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on this proposed application to CEGAS (One John Marshall Drive, Huntington, WV 25755-2585) or email [email protected].
