AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Greenbrier Smokeless Coal Mining, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a General Permit for a coal screening facility located on Anjean Road, County Route 1 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The facility coordinates are as follows: latitude 38.036111 and longitude –80.643889.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: particulate matter baseline emissions of 21 tons per year, point source emissions particulate matter less than 10 microns total of 10 tons per year, and the controlled facility emission total of 309 tons per year.
Startup of operation is planned to begin upon permit approval. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
