Sealed bids will be received by the City of Wheeling, WV at the office of the City Manager, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 until 2:30 p.m. on July 15, 2021 and will be opened and read immediately thereafter for:

The City of Wheeling WPCD Contract IIIG Wastewater Treatment Plant and Lift Station Improvements project consists of replacing existing process and electrical equipment. The project has been presented as two prime contracts, work of the General Contractor (or G.C.) and work of the Electrical Contractor (or E.C.). Bidders may offer a Bid for either the work outlined for the General Contractor; the work outlined for the Electrical Contractor work; or a combination thereof.
The bid specifications, drawings, plan holders list, addenda, and other bid information (but not the bid forms) may be viewed and/or downloaded for free via the internet at

The bidder shall be responsible to check for Addenda and obtain same from the web site.

There will be a Pre bid Conference on June 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the WWTP Conference Room, 2516 Main Street, Wheeling, WV 26003. Parties planning to submit a Bid are required to attend.
All bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor’s License per Sections Section 21-11-11 of the West Virginia Code. A copy is to be included with the bid.
