PUBLIC NOTIFICATION Greenbrier County Public Service District No. 2 Notice of Intent to File Application The Greenbrier County Public Service District #2 (District) will file an application with the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development (USDA) for financial assistance for a wastewater system improvements project. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the proposed Wastewater System Upgrades Project (Project). The Project proposes to upgrade the District’s existing Wastewater Collection System and Wastewater Treatment Plant in order to reduce Inflow and Infiltration (I&I) and prolong the useful life of the facility. This notice is to inform the public of a public meeting to be held at 10:00 am on July 21, 2021, at the District’s office located at 222 Bill Johnson Drive Rainelle WV, 25962. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity to become acquainted with the proposed project and to comment on economic and environmental impacts, service area, or alternatives to the project.
