ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Greenbrier County Solid Waste Authority, Greenbrier County, West Virginia will accept sealed bids for the development of a Final Cap (3.89 acres) at their landfill office: PO Box 1664, Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901, phone no. (304) 645-2489, until 2:00 PM on June 5, 2015, for furnishing equipment, labor and performing all work set forth in the contract documents prepared by Engineering & Testing 2000, Inc.
Immediately following the sche-duled closing time for the reception of bids, all proposals that have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of the contract documents will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The work to be bid upon is described as follows:
A. Top soil removal and stockpile
B. Placement of unclassified material from stockpiles
Project time limit is 90 calendar days.
Liquidated damages shall be $200.00 per day.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 20, 2015, at 10:00 AM at the landfill office.
