SOLICITATION FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES NEW POOL HOUSE AND SPLASH PARK FOR THE CITY OF NITRO, WEST VIRGINIA Pursuant WV Code, the City of Nitro is soliciting expressions of interest from qualified contractors to provide professional Construction Management Services for site work and construction of a new pool house and splash park to be located on property located adjacent to the existing city pool in Nitro, West Virginia. The building will be a single-story, masonry structure with a trussed, hip roof with metal roofing approximately 3,500 square foot in size. Total combined probable costs for the Pool House and Splash Park is $700,000.00. The Architect for the project is Aric Margolis Architecture. The Owner shall accept written expressions of interest until 5:00 pm August 16, 2021. To the extent permitted by law, the Owner, in consultation with the Architect, reserves the right to reject any and all submission, to waive all informalities in the solicitation process, and to make a selection from the submissions received that is solely in the best interest of the Owner. A short list from responses received will be established by the Owner and the Architect. The Owner intends to perform interviews and select Construction Manager as timely as possible following the interviews. Preliminary design concept drawings will be provided upon request to the short list of firms for their review. A single construction management firm will be retained to provide the services for the entire Project. The scope of the services and responsibilities to be provided will include standard construction and construction phase services describe in AIA B133 and AIA A201.
