ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS GREENBRIER COUNTY COMMISSION MEADOW RIVER TRAIL FEMA REMEDIATION PROJECT GREENBRIER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA SEPTEMBER 2021 The Greenbrier County Commission will receive sealed bids until 10:00 AM, September 14, 2021, at the Greenbrier County Commission, 912 Court Street North, Lewisburg, WV, for the following work: Repairs to eight (8) FEMA designated locations along the Meadow River Rail Trail. Construction includes repair and replacement of drainage structures, trail base and surface repairs, and repair/ replacement of trail bridges, as indicated in the Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group. The total bid price shall include the costs for furnishing labor and materials and performing all work set forth in the Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Form of Proposal, Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract, Supplemental General Conditions and Detail Specifications and Drawings prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, all proposals which have been submitted in accordance with the required provisions will be publicly opened and read aloud. Construction time limit is 120 calendar days. Each prospective Bidder shall be required to acquire a minimum of one copy of the Bidding Documents which consist of plans and specifications. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference shall be held at the Nallen Post Office near the project site on August 31st, 10:00 AM. All prospective BIDDERS are required to attend the Pre-Bid Conference for the purpose of discussing the project and touring the project site. All bidding documents shall be submitted in a single envelope addressed to the Owner marked with the following information in the lower left-hand corner: “Name and Address of Bidder” Greenbrier County Commission Bid for Meadow River Trail FEMA Remediation To be opened at 10:00 AM, LPT, September 14, 2021 No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he has a valid WV Contractor’s license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be performed.
