In accordance with Chapter 7, Article 18-2(b) of the Code of West Virginia, the Town Council of the Corporation of Harpers Ferry will hold a Public Hearing to consider an increase in the Room Occupancy Tax from 3{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} to 6{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}. The First Reading of this amendment to Ordinance 753.04 was approved at the Town Council meeting held May 11, 2015. The Public Hearing will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 6:30 pm in the Corporation of Harpers Ferry Town Hall, 1000 Washington Street, Harpers Ferry. The proposed amendment may be reviewed in the Office of the Town Council beginning May 18, 2015.
All persons and agencies having an interest in this amendment are invited to attend these hearings and make their comments known. Written comments may be sent to the Town Council, PO Box 217, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 and will be considered if received before the date of the Public Hearing.
