ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS DUNBAR SANITARY BOARD KANAWHA COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA WASTEWATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS General Notice The Dunbar Sanitary Board (Owner) is requesting Bids for the following treatment plant equipment: 1. Factory-Built Base Mounted Self-Priming Pumping Units – Spec Section 333216 2. Chlorination/Dechlorination Gas Feed Equipment – Spec Section 463111 Bids for the wastewater treatment plant equipment will be received at the office of Ghosh Engineers located at 4710 Chimney Drive, Suite A, Charleston, WV 25302, September 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the time of the opening of bids. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations: Ghosh Engineers, Inc. 4710 Chimney Drive, Suite A Charleston, WV 25302 Dunbar Sanitary Board 208 12th Street Dunbar, WV 25064 Prospective Bidders may obtain the Equipment Bid Specifications at the Issuing Office (the office of Ghosh Engineers, Inc.). The specifications shall be emailed to prospective Bidders electronically. There is no cost for the equipment specification. Bidding Method The Bid must be submitted in an envelope that includes the bid proposal price in the equipment manufacturer’s standard proposal format. Please include equipment type and specification section in the bottom corner of the envelope. Instructions to Bidders Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. Bid proposals shall be valid for forty-five days (45) days. Owner is exempt from West Virginia state sales and use taxes on materials and equipment to be incorporated in the Work. Said taxes must not be included in the Bid. The Dunbar Sanitary Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
