REQUEST FOR BIDS CABELL COUNTY SCHOOLS is seeking proposals from drug-testing services for the possible random drug testing of extra-curricular students, etc. at the middle and high school level during the 2021-2022 school year. The drug-testing services will be responsible for randomly generating student names for testing, for collecting the samples, and for communicating with the Superintendent or his/her designee the results of the drug testing. Bid are due September 9, 2021 @ 8:45am, bid opening September 9, 2021 @ 9:00am. Bids must be sent to the attention of Joedy Cunningham, Executive Director of Secondary Education for Cabell County Schools, 2850 5th Avenue, Huntington, WV 25702. All bids are to include a detailed description of how the testing program will be conducted by the bidding party and must include the following information: Type of test that will be performed (5 panel, 10 panel, etc.) with cost of a complete description of each panel tested. Type of Test (urinary, hair, oral, etc.) Location of lab where testing is to be performed. Collection Methods. SAMHSA certification. Notification of results, procedures, and timeline. Procedures when a test is positive. Cost per test. Procedures for validity testing. References (preferably other school districts) The successful bidder and the Board may enter a contract renewal up to three years if both parties agree to the new terms at the end of each year.
