NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Common Council for the City of Beckley is accepting bids from qualified firms for the replacement of a roof at the Beckley Welcome Center at the corner of Prince Street and Naff Drive.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Beckley Public Works office at 401 Adair Street in Beckley at 10:00 am on September 10th. Complete specifications and bid information may be obtained at that time. Further information can be obtained by calling Beckley Public Works at 304-256-1740 between the hours of 8:00 am and to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. They will be publicly opened and read aloud during a meeting of Common Council at 6:30 p.m. that same day. Bids must be submitted to the Recorder-Treasurer in sealed envelopes clearly marked to indicate contents. Bids may be hand delivered to 409 South Kanawha Street, or mailed to P.O. Box 2514, Beckley, WV 25802-2514. Any bids that arrive after the specified date and time will not be considered.
The City of Beckley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of any bid without cause.
