REQUEST FOR LEGAL SERVICES The KANAWHA COUNTY REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY is requesting statement of interests to provide legal services for a Final Title Opinion to verify easements and right of ways obtained by the Authority for their proposed Olcott – Alum Creek Waterline Extension Project. The Authority, through its engineer and the staff of the Kanawha Planning Office, have received 88 of the 110 needed easements for this extension and are ready for legal review. Two property acquisitions are planned. The engineer estimates there will be 2 hostile eminent domain/ right of entries to be filed with the court system and up to 10 heirships eminent domain / right of entries.
