Invitation to Bid R2201065 – Smith Hall HVAC Renovation – Cooling Tower Marshall University, on behalf of the Board of Governors, invites sealed bids to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies and transportation for R2201065 – Smith Hall HVAC Renovation – Cooling Tower, at Marshall University, Huntington, WV. The scope of work will include removal of an existing roof mounted three cell cooling tower; removal of existing piping, electrical and structural items indicted on drawings and specification; furnish and installation of new roof counted three cell cooling tower, associated electrical piping and structural items as indicated on drawings an in specifications; new HVAC controls for cooling tower and tie into existing front end; documentation of existing laydown and lift area prior to commencement of work; restoration of all areas impacted by work to existing documented conditions; and provide protection of roof and roofing systems warranties throughout this work. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10 a.m., LPT on October 28, 2021, at the Marshall University Drinko Library, Room 349, located at 410 Hal Greer Boulevard, WV. Attendance is mandatory for Mechanical Contractors. Bidders must attend the pre-bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Should any Bidder fail to attend their Bid will be disqualified.
