Notice is hereby given that RESILIENT MINING LLC, 799 HIGHWAY 3459, , HARLAN, KY 40831 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 352.6 acres and has submitted an application to the WV DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S301309 to Operate a Surface Mine in the Little Eagle, Big Eagle, Eagle A, Powellton, No. 2 Gas and Peerless seams of coal.
The operation is discharging into unnamed tributaries of/and Loop Creek, Unnamed Tributaries of/and Glenco Hollow of Loop Creek of the Kanawha River and is located 1.2 miles, Southeast of Kincaid in Valley District of Fayette County, Longitude 81deg.15’20” and Latitude 38deg.01’53” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until December 18, 2021 or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
