Request For Qualifications The Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority (Authority) is soliciting statements of qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms (the Bidders) to provide on-call Planning, Engineering, and Design consulting services for the Authority. The potential projects are likely to be subject to federal, state, and local funding processes, and may involve local approval prior to commencement. The Authority requires experienced transit planning consultant(s) to assist the Authority over the next five (5) years with all aspects of facility planning, strategic planning, feasibility studies, environmental analyses, cost estimating, preparation and submission of grant applications and securing sources of funding, and other general transit system planning needs. The work will include, but may not be limited to: Electric Fleet Conversion Farebox upgrades Improvements, upgrades and/or expansions to existing Maintenance Garage/Authority Facilities Alternative energy projects including solar, energy efficiency, and sustainability Social media and advertising campaign Firms interested in being considered for this project must submit two hard copies and one digital copy of: 1. Attachment 1: Attach detailed resumes for all key team members. b. Attachment 2: Identify any potential conflicts of interest with the Authority or any other relevant parties. c. Attachment 3: Identify any legal actions against Bidder or any key team members that are pending or have been settled or finalized in the last two years.
