NOTICE As required by 40 CFR 403.8 the Huntington Sanitary Board hereby provides the names of the Industrial Users (IUs) which were in significant noncompliance at any time during the 12-month period from July 1, 2020- to June 30, 2021: Industry: Huntington Alloys, Corporation Address: 3200 Riverside Drive, Huntington, WV 25705 Violation: Meeting the Technical Review Criteria for Significant Non-Compliance for the monthly mass limit of Chromium for the first, second, and third quarters at monitoring point 001. Action Taken: Huntington Alloy, Corporation was issued three Notices of Violation and one Administrative Order requiring resampling and a plan of corrective action. Violation: Meeting the Technical Review Criteria for Significant Non-Compliance for the mass daily limit for Mercury for the first and second quarters at monitoring point 002. Action Taken: Huntington Alloy, Corporation was issued two Notices of Violation requiring resampling and a plan of corrective action. Industry: Steel of West Virginia, Inc. Address: 18th Street and Commerce Ave., Huntington, WV 25701 Violation: Meeting the criteria for Chronic Significant Non-Compliance for the concentration limit for Oil and Grease for quarter 3 at monitoring point 005. Action Taken: Steel of West Virginia, Inc. was unable to resample for this parameter because it occurred on an annual cleanout. They were required to submit an explanation and a corrective plan of action for future cleanouts.
