IN THE COUNTY COMMISSION OF RALEIGH COUNTY,
WEST VIRGINIA
RE: CHANGING BOUNDARIES OF MAGISTERIAL DISTRICTS
I, II AND III
THIS 4th day of January, 2022, the County Commission of Raleigh County, West Virginia, sitting in regular session, pursuant to W.Va. Code §7-2-2, does hereby ADOPT and ORDER the following Magisterial District boundaries of Magisterial District I, Magisterial District II and Magisterial District III, as amended, pursuant to the following:
The Clerk had posted notice of said intent on the front door of the Raleigh County Courthouse and at the Glen Daniel Post Office, the Beckley Post Office on Industrial Drive and at the Shady Spring Post Office, for at least 15 days prior to January 4, 2022.

The Clerk, furthermore, had published said intent to change the boundaries of the Magisterial Districts I, II and III as previously ordered as a Class II-O legal advertisement on December 16, 2021 and December 23, 2021 in The Register Herald.
No member of the public has appeared to protest or comment with regard to the changing of Magisterial Districts I, II and III. Therefore, the County Commission has this day unanimously voted to ADOPT and ORDER the following:
Changing Precinct 85 from District I to District III; and
Combining Precincts 79 and 87, moving Precinct 87 from District III to District I.
It is additionally noted that other Precincts have been consolidated, however, they did not affect the Magisterial boundaries.
Upon said consolidations, Magisterial District I shall include the following precincts: 3A, 7A, 22, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 50; Magisterial District II shall include the following precincts: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 12, 14, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31; and Magisterial District III shall include the following precincts: 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 21, 48, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57 and 58.
Raleigh County shall consist of three Executive Committee Districts (which shall elect two males and two females from each district in accordance with W.Va. Code §3-1-9(c). The Executive Committee Districts shall be the same as the Magisterial Districts (comprised of the same precincts.)
The Clerk is directed to publish this Order as a Class II legal ad.
