NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FINANCING OF EQUIPMENT BY THE WEST SIDE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC. Notice is hereby given that the West Side Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. (the “Issuer”) will meet on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at their headquarters located at 256 West Main Street, Saint Albans, WV 25177 for the purpose of holding a public hearing pursuant to the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal that the Issuer enter into a lease- purchase agreement with Country Roads Leasing, LLC, of Bridgeport, West Virginia, in order to finance One (1) New 2022 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Truck, said equipment is to be located at the fire station located at 256 West Main Street, Saint Albans, WV 25177. To finance the costs of the equipment and to pay costs and expenses incidental to the financing, the Issuer proposes to enter into a lease-purchase agreement in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $50,000.00. The Issuer will be required to pay all expenses of operating, maintaining and insuring the equipment. The rental payments due pursuant to the lease-purchase agreement will be secured by a security interest in the equipment. All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with the Fire Chief of the Issuer prior to the date of the hearing set forth hereinabove.
