Notice is hereby given that Bardon, Inc., 6401 Golden Triangle Dr., Suite 400, Greenbelt, MD 20770, has submitted an application for renewal of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q200189 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) located at 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, in order to remove dolomitic limestone by conducting quarry operations. The operation is discharging into Shenandoah River of Potomac River Basin and is located 3.4 miles southwest of Harpers Ferry Post Office in Harpers Ferry, WV, District of Jefferson County, Longitude 77 degrees, 48′, 18.0000″ and Latitude 39 degrees, 17′, 12.000″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until July 8, 2016, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication.
A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and in the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
