Notice is hereby given that LP MINERAL, LLC, 317 Cleveland Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 153.0 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S200613 to Coal Surface Mine in the Waynesburg, Waynesburg A, and Washington seams of coal and all splits of seams thereof. The operation is discharging into Finchs Run and Moody Run of Buffalo Creek of Monongahela River and is located 1.0 miles north of Barrackville, West Virginia in Fairmont District of Marion County, Longitude 80° 10’ 35” and Latitude 39° 31’ 25” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until 11/11/19, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until 11/11/19, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above AND in the Marion County Clerk’s Office(s) during normal business hours.
