Notice is hereby given that AMERICAN BITUMINOUS POWER PARTNERS, L.P. LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, PO BOX 159, 228 ABPP DR, GRANT TOWN, WV 26574 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 136.8 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV, 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O100399 to reclaim and reprocess coal refuse, place boiler ash during reclamation process, and mine coal by surface mining and auger methods in the Washington and Waynesburg “A” seam of coal.

The operation is discharging into unnamed tributaries of Falls Run and Moody Run of the Monongahela watershed and is located 0.5 miles, northwest of BARRACKVILLE in FAIRMONT District of Marion County, Longitude 80˚10’39” and Latitude 39˚30’27” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
