Notice is hereby given that MONUMENT MINING INC, PO BOX 198, PREMIER, WV 24878 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 16.97 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O007882 to Operate/Maintain a Preparation Plant in the n/a seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Gooney Otter Creek and Barkers Creek of the Guayandotte River and is locatd 1.7 miles, Southeast of BUD in Barkers Ridge District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81 21′ 53″ Latitude 37 31′ 9″

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until November 4th, 2022, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
