PO Box 457, Whitesville, WV 25209 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 17.36 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 254 Industrial Drive, Oak Hill, WV 25901, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U-3013-99 to maintain an underground mine and its related facilities in the Powellton seam of coal.
