The Greenbrier County Airport Authority is seeking bids from licensed contractors to procure and install an electrically operated Bi-Fold Hangar Door for a twenty four and a half by ninety foot opening (24 1/2 X 90 feet) in a steel building. Actual height of door will be thirty feet six inches (30 1/2 feet) with a 6 foot wedge. Door will be external truss design, with a strap lift and a 240 volt 1 phase bottom drive electric motor. Price should include sheeting, 4 inch blanket insulation, liner flashing, a walk door, free standing header and freight. Price for installation of the door and related equipment, labor, mileage, applying the sheeting, insulation, installing the free standing header and costs for ancillary equipment used in the installation such as scissors lift and a crane should also be included in the bid. Bids must be received at the office of the airport manager at the airport by 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2014. Bids will be opened and read aloud at that time.
