The City of Oak Hill will accept sealed bids for material and installation of a 5′ high, 8 gage, vinyl chain-link, black fence. The fence will be approximately 805 linear feet and a map is available at:

or at City Hall. This is an all vinyl structure. There will be five gates, two are two-panel gates for openings of 8′ each, two are 40″ openings and one is a two-panel with an opening of 80″. The line posts are 2″ SS40. The end, corner anxd gate posts are 2.5″ SS40. The top rail is 1 5/8″ SS20. The bottom tension wire is 7 gage. Complete installation must be accomplished no later than 60 days from award of contract, weather days exempted. Liquidated damages $50.00 per day. Avoiding utilities and drainage is the responsibility of the contractor.
Proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 and a WV Contractors license is to be included within the sealed bid envelope. City of Oak Hill municipal license ($75) is required before installation commences and a B & O tax rate of 1.55{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}. Bids are to be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside: Sealed Bid, Dog Park Fence.
Bids are due no later than 3 p.m., November 18, 2019 and must be delivered to the Oak Hill City Hall located at 100 Kelly Ave., Oak Hill, WV or Mailed to: City of Oak Hill, PO Box 1245, Oak Hill, WV 25901. Bids will be opened and award considered during a meeting of City Council at or about 6:30 p.m. on November 18.
The City of Oak Hill reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
