Advertisement for Bids for 2020 Street Paving
For the Town of Fayetteville
Sealed Bids for the 2020 Street Paving will be received by the Town of Fayetteville, Attention: Town Superintendent/ Street Paving Bid, 125 Court Street Fayetteville, West Virginia 25840. Bids must be submitted and be at Town Hall no later than 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 18, 2020. The Bids will be opened in the council chambers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020. The Bids will be considered at the June 18, 2020 Town of Fayetteville Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. Bid Specifications are as follows:
— All Bidders must have current West Virginia Contractors License and Town of Fayetteville Business License
— Bidder must follow WVDOH mix designs
— Bidder must follow WVDOH Specifications
— Roller-pass nuclear compaction testing of the asphalt is required and to be included.
— Town of Fayetteville Business License is Required
— Town of Fayetteville B&O tax payment will be required
— Lien Release required from any subcontractors or suppliers
— 5% Bid Bond is required at time of bid.
— Liability Insurance with $1,000,000 minimum coverage is required, with the Town of Fayetteville to be listed as “Additional Insured”
— Paving must be complete within 45 calendar days from issuance of “Notice to Proceed
— Bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened to Bidders.
— All Bidders must individually list a bid price per street on the bid document, part or none of the streets may be paved depending on prices and the Town budget.
— The Town of Fayetteville Reserves the right to accept or reject the bid price on any individual street for paving to meet the Town of Fayetteville’s Paving Budget
— The Town of Fayetteville Reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.
