ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the upgrade of underground utilities will be received by the Raleigh County Commission at their office at 116 1/2 Heber Street, Beckley, West Virginia 25801, until 2:00 p.m. local time on October 21, 2019. The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read by the Raleigh County Commission at 9:00 a.m. on October 22, 2019.
The Project consist of:
Primary Contract: This work includes installation of approximately 2,000 LF of two-inch water line, 100 water service connections, upgrading sixty electrical services, and installing 100 water and electric pedestals.
Alternate No. 1: Construction of six new RV sites.
Bids shall be lump sum and unit prices as indicated on the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: The Raleigh County Commission, 116 1/2 Heber Street, Beckley, West Virginia 25801. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents after October 8, 2019, at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office.
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at the Lake Stephens RV park at 1:00 p.m. on October 8, 2019. Plans will be distributed at this conference.
