BARN STABILIZATION PROJECT (ROOF REPLACEMENT)
Sealed Bids for the Project listed above, will be received by the Town of Romney, 340 E Main St, Romney, WV 26757 until 11:00 am on Friday November 8, 2024, at which time and place all accepted bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. After opening, the bids will be compared as to quality, thoroughness, and cost by the Town of Romney and its technical advisors.
In general, the Work of this bid package includes the limited structural repair and replacement of the roof system of the historic dairy barn in Romney in accordance with historic guidelines. The project location is 199 Depot Street Romney, WV.
Electronic Copies of the Bidding Documents will be available as early as October 9, 2024, from the office of the Town of Romney, 340 E Main St, Romney, WV 26757, telephone 304-822-5118. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested contractors wishing to bid on the project at 4:00 pm on Wednesday October 23, 2024 at the office of the Town of Romney, address listed above. Bidding Documents are being issued in electronic format (PDF) or hardcopy, and can be sent by the Town of Romney to interested parties via email download or picked up at Town hall.
