ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WILLIAMSON SHRIVER ARCHITECTS PROJECT 2025-031 FLEMINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HVAC REPLACEMENT The Taylor County Board of Education, Grafton, WV, will receive bids for HVAC Replacement at Flemington Elementary School until 1:00 pm, local prevailing time on the 5th of May, 2026, at the office of the Taylor County Board of Education, 71 Utt Drive, Grafton, West Virginia 26354, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference for General Construction has been scheduled for April 21, 2026, at 10:30 am at Flemington Elementary School, Flemington, WV. A site visit will be conducted following the meeting. The contract documents are available only from the architect's Project Management Website. Login credentials will be sent to plan rooms, all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers after the request is made to [email protected]. Addenda will be only distributed electronically to bidders registered in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue and the West Virginia Secretary of State's Office prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for his Bid to be considered. Each Bidder's registration certificate number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the Taylor County Board of Education, shall be submitted with each Bid. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least thirty (30) days.
