Construction Bids
Construction bids are being sought for the rehabilitation of the New Salem Baptist Church, by the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia, in partnership with the Trustees for the New Salem Baptist Church. Rehabilitation work will be completed according to architectural specifications in documents prepared by ZMM Architects and Engineers. All bids are due to the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia by 5pm local time on Friday, July 17, 2026. Bids may be sent via email to [email protected].
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 29, 2026, at 11:30 am local time at the Project Site, 297 McAlipin Rd, Tams, WV 25920.

Each bidder must be registered with the WV Department of Tax and Revenue prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for the Bid to be considered. Each Bidder's registration certificate number shall be written on the Form of Proposal.
All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State of West Virginia prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each bidder's contractor license number shall be written on the Form of Proposal.
The Preservation Alliance of West Virginia reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold the final award of contract for 30 days after opening bids.
