ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS Proposals will be received by the West Virginia Parkways Authority via Bid Express for: BRIDGE DECK REPLACEMENT CONTRACT BRIDGE 3004S – MILEPOST 13.73 BRIDGE 3005S – MILEPOST 13.79 BRIDGE 3003N- MILEPOST 13.73 BRIDGE 3005N – MILEPOST 13.79 The BDR-1-27 project is located along the West Virginia Turnpike at I-77 Milepost 13.73 and Milepost 13.79. It consists of fully replacing the southbound bridge decks over Mercer Springs Road and Brush Creek with precast deck panels and barriers utilizing accelerated bridge construction. It also includes fully repainting steelwork, pneumatically applied mortar (shotcrete) repairs to substructure units, and concrete protective coating on all piers and abutments for the north and southbound bridges over Mercer Springs Road, as well as pneumatically applied mortar (shotcrete) repairs to substructure units and concrete protective coating on all piers and abutments for the north and southbound bridges over Brush Creek. The complete bridge decks shall be replaced during the designated ABC timeframe. The complete bridge deck replacements of Bridges 3004S and 3005S shall be completed between April 1, 2027 and May 27, 2027. Work on Bridge 3004S consists of approximately 7,758 square feet of bridge deck replacement, 12,430 square feet of steel bridge painting, 1 square yard of shotcrete repairs and 4,400 square feet of concrete protective coating. Work on Bridge 3005S consists of approximately 13,256 square feet of bridge deck replacement, 6 square yards of shotcrete repairs and 7,920 square feet of concrete protective coating. Work on Bridge 3005N consists of 6,490 square feet of concrete protective coating and 1 square yard of shotcrete repairs. Work on Bridge 3003N consists of 4,290 square feet of concrete protective coating, 12,430 square feet of steel bridge painting 1 square yard of shotcrete repairs.
