Notice is hereby given that Kingston Mining, Inc., 600 Resource Drive, Scarbro, WV 25917, has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 Permit Number U300601 in order to add area for a new portal site. The IBR area is within 100 feet of the right of way of county road 14/23 and also within 100 feet of a stream – Unnamed Tributary of/and Shotgun Hollow
The revised permit will discharge into Shotgun Hollow of Paint Creek of Kanawha River and is located 1.2 miles, northwest of Pax in the Valley District of Fayette County, Longitude 81 18′ 36″ and Latitude 37 57′ 57″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until June 27, 2020, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
