Notice is hereby given that LEXINGTON COAL COMPANY, LLC, PO BOX 58370, CHARLESTON, WV 25358 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 200 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U301290 to continue to operate a preparation plant, refuse disposal area, haulroad and undergroundmine in theWinifrede seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Boomer Branch of Kanawha Riverand is located 2miles, eastof Boomer inValleyDistrict of FayetteCounty, Longitude 81deg. 14′ 11″ and Latitude 38deg. 9′ 3″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
