Notice is hereby given that WOLF RUN MINING LLC, 100 TYGART DR, GRAFTON, WV 26354 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a Phase 1 release on Permit Number U001984 issued for 80.6 acres.
The permit is located in TRAP HILL District of Raleigh County, 1.0 miles northwest (Direction) of SURVEYOR (Nearest PO) on an unnamed tributary of Millers Camp Branch (Primary Receiving Stream) of Marsh Fork (Secondary Receiving Stream) of Coal River (Major Drainage Basin).
WOLF RUN MINING LLC completed backfilling and regrading on 5/21/2019 (Date) and is requesting release of 60 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $315,400.00.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until 8/24/2020, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
